BUILDING MUSCLE As rule of thumb, I wish to go by lifting weights to build muscle each other day. And normally your whole muscle building routine might be accomplished in about 20 minutes. Allowing sooner or later?s relaxation in between permits your body and muscle groups to recuperate. Weight training is a large part of optimal mens health and fitness. No time to get to a gym? Put money into a home gym unit! I highly advocate a Bowflex house gym unit or a Complete Gym. A Bowflex is ideal for final muscle constructing while the Whole Gymnasium is ideal for firming up your entire body and building modest muscle mass. Not to point out they?re both extremely easy to use. Having a house fitness center in your home saves you gas and aggravation of driving in visitors to and from the fitness center also! You see guys, males?s health does NOT have to be hard or difficult. So now that you have a slim and nearly-perfect physique, the place do we go from here?

FACE EXERCISES To complete the ultimate mens well being and health plan, I would highly advocate face workouts for men. Why? As a result of most often, common train and weight training won?t exactly construct chiseled facial features. Whereas building muscle will outline your chest and shoulder area, it won?t target your face and neck muscle tissues effectively.

What About Exercise? It is rather necessary that you just carry out regular exercise. Even if you?re eating less however aren?t bothering about common workout routines, then there are high possibilities that you will not be capable of reduce weight. Train is an integral a part of any fitness program. You aren?t required to hitch expensive gyms of s clubs for exercises. A 15 to 30 minute stroll round your house or in a garden is sufficient. A stroll in a park after dinner is likely one of the commonest bodily activities advisable for each dieter.

Exercising recurrently and acquiring fitness has been confirmed instrumental in stabilizing blood sugar, increasing total energy, elevating the mood (endorphins are launched in the bloodstream), serving to keep flexibility, lowering stress, and naturally serving to maintain a healthy physique weight.Exercise is to not be dreaded, reasonably loved, realizing that for every moment you exercise, you?re helping your body achieve health and a healthful state of being.RISK / REWARD: We were born to be energetic and fit, and until we now have an existing health situation preventing train, some exercise is confirmed to be better than no exercise. Being lively is secure for nearly everyone and, according to the CDC (Center for illness management), individuals without recognized chronic situations don?t need to consult with a health care supplier concerning moderate bodily activity.Men?s fitness is not a objective, fairly a journey. Reside lengthy, be wholesome, exercise often, and learn to spread the joy of life to those you meet alongside the way.

Quick and Dirty DIY Home Improvement Tips | welcome to ...

If there is anything at all that makes you feel overwhelmed with your online business, then that just means you have to learn a bit more and get more comfortable. Anyone with experience in houses Palm Bay will understand what we mean and maybe even have a chuckle about it. One very common strategy is hiring freelancers, but for most that is only possible with existing business profits. What you should strive for is combining as many effective approaches as possible. Never forget, when you are first exposed to something you have never tried before, proceed with caution and do some testing before doing a major roll-out. We know you want to grow your business and expand, but due diligence is simply common sense.

Many people like DIY home improvement projects, while others would rather hire outside help. Provided you know everything involved with each choice, either will work. One big mistake you can make, is getting the job started and realize your skill level isn?t sufficient to do the job right. The suggestions from this article will make your DIY home improvement projects easier to plan.

In order to get the most excellent results from a DIY home improvement undertaking, it can be to your advantage to scrutinize examples of what you would like to accomplish. If you?ve never done something before, it?s better to consult some educational material or ask for advice rather than just stumble in the dark and hope for the best. At the present time, there are lots of resources you can inquire with about help, starting with your local home improvement or hardware store. Oftentimes, you can find someone who knows a lot and is willing to provide you with some recommendations on the task you are planning, particularly if you are purchasing materials there. Furthermore, you can be pointed in the right direction by educational books and videos. Since you can observe an individual performing the task step-by-step, a video can come in quite handy.

Sometimes you can lower your costs on materials and tools, when you get set up for a home restoration project. It?s never a good idea to compromise on quality, just to find something that costs less. Recycle places or ?Re-Stores? offer new materials for about 50% off, compared to the items sold in home improvement and hardware stores. If you can find the items you need at these places, you can dramatically reduce your costs, while still acquiring good quality materials. When it comes to tools, either locally or on the Internet, you can generally find used ones that are still in good shape.

The whole purpose of DIY projects is to cut costs so you can save money. Don?t reduce the quality of tools or materials, just to save money.

Items that are used or recycled and have good quality can be used, but don?t let the results of the project be affected by cheap materials. When you need to paint either the outside of your house or inside, you need to choose the right paint. Cheaper paint will cost you more money in the long run, because you will have to repaint sooner, and it won?t look as good either. Another instance, is buying cheap tile that will crack in a year or two, so don?t do it. The important thing to keep in mind is that your knowledge plus action on what you learn about houses Indian Harbour Beach has great potential. Most people, the majority of them, do nothing all throughout their lives and nothing good happens from that.

It seems so many people have a sincere desire to do something, but they fall in the trap of just sitting there and wishing. There is really a form of momentum in our lives, and the hard part for most is just simply getting started.

It is not hard at all, really, to use this information if you become aware and commit to it. So do keep reading more because we are not done, yet. There are lots of reasons to take on DIY projects. You might want to take on some repairs that are overdue, spruce up a room by putting in addition or even just give your home a new and fresh look. Whatever you want to do, with the right tools, materials and the ability to follow directions, there isn?t any reason that your DIY home improvement project should be a success.

Truly, what we have offered you here, today, is by no means the conclusion of the learning process about Go Here. You can take what we have revealed and use it to great effect in your own situation. But it would be a mistake to think that is all there is to it. There is much more that can seriously produce the kind of results anyone would want. Anybody can simply learn the choicest things that are known to produce results.

Have you ever wondered how life is sustained in environments like deserts, deep seas or the polar regions? How do organisms adapt and thrive in such harsh conditions, and what challenges do they face as a result of human activities and climate change, especially climate "extremization"? Shedding light on some of these issues is the objective of the European Science Foundation's (ESF) session on 27 March at Planet Under Pressure 2012. The session will look at different aspects of life in extreme environments - from knowledge to sustainable exploitation of new resources under growing pressures. Recognizing the pivotal role of extreme environments at planetary level, the ESF-hosted session will be also endorsed by the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP) through the programme dedicated to land-atmosphere interactions (iLEAPS).

A selection of outstanding speakers from across Europe and the US will discuss emerging ideas about sustainable exploitation of novel resources, e.g. for food or non-food biotechnology, and fine-chemistry. The presentations will highlight research on biogeochemical cycles to understand the impacts of climate change and the ecosystem responses, and to provide knowledge about adaptation, land use change, and mitigation options.

This ESF-hosted session is a follow-up of the FP7-funded Coordinated Action for Research on Life in Extreme Environments (CAREX) project and strategic roadmap - a solid scientific consensus from a community of over 220 international experts studying life in every type of extreme environment - launched last year. CAREX's identified research priorities include life's response to climate and environmental change, its adaptation methods, understanding biodiversity and interactions within extreme environments, and finding limits of habitability which could inform the search for extraterrestrial life.

The ESF-hosted session will be split into four presentations:

  • Professor A. Altman, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel, will shed light on the desert environments, highlighting plant-specific coping molecular and physiological mechanisms based on chaperone proteins that superintend the general metabolism under harsh environments
  • Dr D.S.M. Billet, from the National Oceanography Centre Southampton in the UK, will present an overview of mining in the deep sea and the issues surrounding protection of marine life
  • Dr C. Verde, from the Institute of Protein Biochemistry at the National Research Council in Italy, will report on Antarctic bacterial globins and their role in nitric oxide (NO) biology, highlighting how this and other findings may be exploited for sustainable exploitation of biological resources in extreme environments
  • Dr L.J. Rothschild, from the NASA Ames Research Center in the US, will focus on life in extreme environments from NASA's perspective

ESF's session is an opportunity for Planet Under Pressure's delegates to gain new perspectives on the latest research into life in extreme environments, to interact with leading scientists in the field, and to gain a real understanding of the pro-active role of CAREX so far, and its vision about future sustainable exploitation of life resources in the extreme environments.

ESF will be also hosting a side meeting, attendance by invitation only, on 27 March, on research on life in extreme environments, taking a retrospective look and an outlook at pressures on our planet and global change. Research on life in extreme environments provides outstanding opportunities to advance our fundamental scientific knowledge of the variety of life processes. It is also relevant to current societal challenges such as technological innovation, exploitation of novel compounds, advance knowledge on impacts of global change on biodiversity, and sustainable exploitation of resources, in turn alleviating pressures on our planet. To be properly and efficiently addressed, such an interdisciplinary area of knowledge (ranging from deep sea to polar regions to alpine ecology to astrobiology) requires the definition, coordination, and implementation of a holistic plan and policy in the future.

The outcome of this side meeting will see the publication of a vision paper on the scientific challenges and societal opportunities offered by research on life in extreme environments, as well as policy implications.

IFBB Pro Physique Competitor Alex Carneiro Interview ...

Why did you decide to begin training and exercising?

I?m happy this is a ?why? and not a ?when? question. I think it doesn?t matter when I started as to ?why? I started. My initial reasons were nothing compared to the ones I have today. Originally I started with the intention of simply looking good and wanting to attract the opposite sex. I think most guys start for that reason; I haven?t yet met someone who straight told me they wanted to look like the next comic book hero because they wanted to step on stage. However, like anything in life, goals and objectives can change and the goal of learning was the next step as to why I wanted to pursue training and exercise. It was during my junior year in high school that I wanted to know as much as possible about the human body that I decided I wanted to pursue a degree in something related to that subject. I didn?t know exactly what I wanted, but I knew that I did not want to end up being a P.E. teacher (no offence but I think with a degree in Human Physiology one can do more).

As I kept progressing in my education in what I later found was called Kinesiology, I learned that nutrition was something extremely crucial that needed to go hand in hand with training if I wanted to keep seeing changes in my body. I think once again my objectives changed and the reason as to why I wanted to train was sparked. As years went by and fitness magazines featured me, companies decided to invest in me and my fan base grew. I decided that I wanted to train and exercise not to simply improve my physique as a competitor and fitness model, but to promote health and fitness itself. I want to promote the idea that a healthy mind is a healthy body and that training and exercising is the magic pill that will help everyone with any health problems they might have. It?s interesting to notice that over the years so many different studies pop every year regarding new supplements, nutritional plans, exercises etc; on one day they will say some are bad and then on others they say its good, but one thing NO study has ever published are the negative effects of healthy training. Why? Because we know that there is nothing better than exercising our body and mind.
Alex Carneiro
How does it feel to be a sponsored IFBB Pro Physique Athlete?

First I will answer your question and then I will add to it. Feels pretty darn good, why? Because my sponsors; particularly Optimum Nutrition / American Bodybuilding help me with making my goals a lot more achievable. Not only do they have amazing products to help my body grow and recover but they also go above and beyond to make sure that as an athlete, I have all the tools to keep improving myself. However, people think I had all these sponsors, including ON after I became an IFBB Pro. I actually had all of them prior to turning into an IFBB Pro. My sponsors take care of me the same way I take care of them and I want to make sure it?s a symbiotic relationship; not me expecting everything and returning nothing in return. I think many athletes think that they can sit back and just hope a sponsor will reach their arms out to them and then they don?t have to reach back. It doesn?t work that way. For that reason, I want to thank Optimum Nutrition, American Bodybuilding, Monsta Clothing and Pro Tan USA for their help.
What are your work out related goals for the future?

Oh boy! I have so many. Competing and wanting to be the # 1 Physique Pro and stepping on that possible Mr. Olympia stage are just one of them. Currently I own my own membership page called AC FIT members. Users are learning SO many daily and I keep making sure the page is full of content for everyone to keep learning, I want to keep expanding my business there and on my personal training online services. Additionally I want to connect with more companies and be able to share my knowledge on nutrition, training, supplements and so much more. I want to be the mind and body, not just the body. I think it?s important that people know that there are fitness models out there that actually know what they are doing; you would be surprised how many so called fitness models and even pro athletes don?t know squat about nutrition, training, supplementation and life itself. Expansion of AC FIT ( my company) is definitely on the works.
What is in your experience the most effective routine?

The one that works for YOU. Not for the athlete you might be reading from a magazine or online article. I think everyone needs to first analyze, sit down and know exactly what kind of body they want and the functionality of that body. After they do that they now should learn the best ways of achieving that body via a specific training routine. Most importantly change it up and try new and different things to observe how the body reacts. The problem is people want the ?perfect? routine and that simply does not exist. Every single pro athlete out there has probably spent years figuring out what works best for their bodies and probably might still be finding the most efficient way for their goals. The perfect routine is the one that has had to pass through trial and error and is the most efficient for the individual?s body. Trial and error are going to be key in order to achieve this. Another problem is people want things fast, so if a routine doesn?t work the first week they change it; they don?t allow enough time for the body to respond and then simply quit.
What is your current routine (list your current split like ie. Monday: 3?10 Bench Press, 3?10 Chest Fly?s etc.)?

My current routine has actually only been seen by my AC FIT members; I just make sure readers understand the previous paragraph and what I wrote on it. This has worked well for my body.

What is your diet and supplementation like (provide a sample meal plan for one day ie. breakfast, lunch, dinner)?

I?m a trainer and sports nutritionist so my diet is made exactly for my body type, weight, height, activity level and many other small factors. I carb cycle all year to be able to maintain a low bodyfat and if I need I can also add lean mass without too much fat with this technique. I cycle usually 2-3 Low Carb Days and then give myself 1 High Carb Loading. Sometimes I will have 2 High Carb Days. I pretty much ?eat for what I train? Meaning if I have a harder and more active day ahead of me I will eat more that day. My low days constitute of 150g of carbs and my high 300g. The carbs are timed for the most essential needs of my body during that day; meaning I consume most of my carbs with breakfast, pre and post training. Post training carbs are essential in my opinion and I have 50% of my carbs for that day post training.

My supplementation is extremely important for me as I understand that with my lifestyle sometimes it?s hard to obtain all the vitamins and minerals from food itself. I?m also a big firm believer on supplementing with supplements like herbs and anti-oxidants. Supplements for me mean two major things: Enhanced performance and health. People don?t realized that supplements can play a key role in enhancing the human body?s capacity for growth and regeneration if taken correctly and at the right times. For some it might seem a bit overwhelming what I will list below but again, my body, my needs, my supplements.

With Every Solid Meal:

Digestive Enzymes

CLA

Fish Oil
Breakfast:

1 Optimen Multimineral/Vitamin Tab

1,000mg Calcium w/ Vitamin D and Magnesium

5g Creatine Mono

What is your top tip for general fitness?

Educate yourself. Period. Bro-Science doesn?t work. Reading an article here and there won?t work. You need to know exactly how to enhance every aspect of your body?s abilities. Nutrition is always the key in my opinion and learning all there is about it for the specific goals you have is essential for success. The four most important factors for success will always be: nutrition, training, resting, supplementation. If you understand how to connect all four and understand how to make each of those work at their best, then you?ve got a bright future.

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) ? Yahoo Inc sued Facebook Inc over 10 patents that include methods and systems for advertising on the Web, opening the first major legal battle among big technology companies in social media.

The lawsuit, filed in a San Jose, California federal court on Monday, marks a major escalation of patent litigation that has already swept up the smartphone and tablet sectors and high-tech stalwarts such as Apple Inc, Microsoft Corp and Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc.

Yahoo?s patent lawsuit follows Facebook?s announcement of plans for an initial public offering that could value the company at about $100 billion.

Facebook spokesman Jonathan Thaw said Facebook learned of the lawsuit through the media.

?We?re disappointed that Yahoo, a longtime business partner of Facebook and a company that has substantially benefited from its association with Facebook, has decided to resort to litigation,? he said.

In an emailed statement, Yahoo said it is confident it will prevail.

?Unfortunately, the matter with Facebook remains unresolved and we are compelled to seek redress in federal court,? the company said in a statement.

Yahoo, one of the Web?s pioneering companies, has seen its revenues decline in recent years at a time when rivals such as Facebook and Google have thrived. In January, Yahoo appointed former PayPal President Scott Thompson as its new chief executive, replacing Carol Bartz, who was fired in September.

Yahoo said late last month it was seeking licensing fees from Facebook over its patents and that other companies have already agreed to such licensing deals.

IPO COMPANIES VULNERABLE

Colleen Chien, a professor at Santa Clara Law in Silicon Valley, said companies are usually more vulnerable to patent suits when they are in the IPO process.

?As a general proposition, when a company is about to go public, the last thing it needs is to get involved in a knock-down, drag out litigation fight,? Chien said.

?So that might make Facebook more willing to resolve its differences with Yahoo.?

Yahoo has used similar timing to its advantage in the past. Google agreed to issue shares to Yahoo nine days before Google went public in 2004 in exchange for a license to Yahoo?s patents. Google later took a $201 million non-cash charge related to the transaction.

In deciding to sue Facebook, Yahoo has retained the same law firm, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, used by Google and other manufacturers in many Android-related smartphone patent cases. Google is a player in social media with its Google+ service.

Quinn Emanuel also counts social gaming service Zynga Inc as a client, according to the law firm?s website.

Yahoo has not said whether it will bring patent claims against other social networking companies and a Google spokesman declined to comment on Quinn Emanuel?s involvement. Zynga also declined to comment.

In the lawsuit, Yahoo says Facebook was considered ?one of the worst performing sites for advertising? prior to adapting Yahoo?s ideas.

?Mr. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook?s founder and CEO, has conceded that the design of Facebook is not novel and is based on the ideas of others,? the lawsuit said.

ONLINE ADVERTISING

Only two of the 10 patents at issue are directly related to social networking technology. Most focus on online advertising, including methods for preventing ?click fraud,? as well as privacy and technology for customizing the information users see on a Web page.

?If what Yahoo is saying is literally true, then it seems like a lot of companies would be liable,? said Shubha Ghosh, a professor who specializes in intellectual property at The University of Wisconsin Law School. But he added, much would depend on whether a judge defines the patents broadly or narrowly.

Several social networking companies, including Facebook, have seen an uptick in patent claims asserted against them as they move through the IPO process.

However, most of those lawsuits have been filed by patent aggregators that buy up intellectual property to squeeze value from it via licensing deals and none by a large tech company such as Yahoo.

The lawsuit is a change for Yahoo because the company has never initiated offensive patent litigation against such a large publicly traded company, according to a search of federal court dockets on legal database Westlaw, a Thomson Reuters unit.

A classic defense for companies targeted with patent claims is to threaten a countersuit using its own patents. But Yahoo possesses far more patents than Facebook. According to a U.S. government database, Yahoo has over 3,300 patents and published patent applications, while Facebook has 160.

The case in U.S. District Court, Northern District of California is Yahoo Inc. v. Facebook Inc., 12-cv-1212.

First dinosaur fossil discovered in Spain much newer than thought

Unearthed in 1987,?Aragosaurus ischiaticus, roamed what is now Spain some 130 million years ago. Using fossilized pollen, paleontologists have calculated that it lived about 15 million years later than previously thought.?

The first dinosaur ever found in Spain is not as old as paleontologists had believed ? though at 130 million years old, the long-necked creature is no spring chicken.

The dinosaur,?Aragosaurus ischiaticus, was originally discovered in 1987. But?the fossil?was difficult to date. Now, researchers at the University of Zaragoza's Aragon Research Institute of Environmental Sciences have found the sauropod's age was estimated at 15 million years too old. The age-shaving results suggest the dinosaur was an ancestor of the enormous Titanosauriforms, a group that includes the?largest dinosaurs?to ever live.

The new age estimate puts the dinosaur in the Hauterivian age between 136 million and 130 million years ago, the researchers reported March 12 in the journal Geological Magazine.

"This is the only dinosaur of this period found in Spain and is also the most intact in Europe," study author Jos? Ignacio Canudo of the University of Zaragoza said in a statement. "It can be categorized amongst the well-known sauropods of the Jurassic-Cretaceous transition (135 million years ago), the most abundant species during the Barremian age (116 million years ago). As this group has been studied the least, the?Aragosaurus?fills the gap."

To accurately date the?Aragosaurus?specimen, Canudo and his colleagues conducted fieldwork at the site of the find. They used fossil pollen found in the same layers of sediment as the?Aragosaurus?to pinpoint the date. By knowing the evolutionary history and?age of the plants?that released that pollen, the researchers can estimate the ages of fossils found in the same layers.

The more accurate date helps flesh out the sauropod family tree, the researchers reported.?Aragosaurus?fills a gap in fossil knowledge during the shift from the Jurassic to the Cretaceous period, Canudo said.
