Gov. Jerry Brown?s pro?posed budget in?cludes $97.7 bil?lion in gen?er?al-fund spend?ing, an es?tim?ated 4% in?crease over the cur?rent year.
The budget will also in?clude $40.1 bil?lion in spend?ing from spe?cial funds, which are more than 500 ac?counts ded?ic?ated to vari?ous pro?grams and ini?ti?at?ives. The gov?ernor plans to spend an?oth?er $7.2 bil?lion in bond?funds.
