West Coast
California: Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Orange County
A financial literacy non-profit, CCCS offers a wide variety of financial workshops, covering banking, homebuying, grocery shopping and marriage.? The non-profit even has workshops in Spanish.
California: Star One Credit Union
Star One Credit Union is offering no less than 12 workshops on everything from financing college to starting an IRA.? These 90-minute workshops provide comprehensive guidance to your personal finances.
New England
Massachusetts: American Credit Counseling Service
AACS is holding a 90-minute workshop on how to become debt-free in the new year.? Through debt elimination strategies and budgeting, attendees can start 2013 on the right track.
Virginia: BayPort Credit Union
BayPort Credit Union offers three classes covering the basics: Debt-Free and Money for Me, Build a Strong Credit Report and Build a Basic Budget.? Each class consists of two 2-hour sessions.? These detailed classes are a perfect starter to financial literacy for 2013.

North Carolina: Compass Center for Women and Family
Compass Center offers financial literacy classes in an ongoing series held on the second Thursday of each month.? From credit to identity theft to job loss, this series covers all your financial literacy needs, and the classes are particularly helpful for those with families, as family finance is a closely covered topic.
Texas: Cornerstone Financial Education
Cornerstone Financial Education is offering a variety of classes on debt, homebuying and credit. ??In addition to these purely financial topics, the non-profit offers classes on energy efficiency as well and its impact on your wallet.? Cornerstone also runs a webinar series with Greater Texas Federal Credit Union.
Midwest
Minnesota: Community Action Partnership of Suburban Hannepin
CAPSH is offering two four-hour workshops on budgeting, debt, credit and fraud. In additional to invaluable knowledge, participants receive a $25 Visa check card and a $50 U.S. savings bond.
