Apple knocked off top spot by Amazon in 2013's Harris Poll RQ Study

Apple has been given second place in the corporate reputations rankings for the 14th Annual Harris Poll RQ Study, beaten only by Amazon.com.

The study asks more than 14,000 members of the public to measure the reputations of the 60 most visible companies in the country.

This year's study saw Apple fall into second place after Amazon climbed up from fourth to first.

The Walt Disney Company, Google, Coca-Cola, Sony, Samsung and Microsoft are also among the top 15.

User satisfaction survey accused of attacking Apple

A user satisfaction survey conducted by OnDevice Research has been accused of attacking Apple after the iPhone 5 came in last.

PCMag.com's John C. Dvorak writes that OnDevice's survey of more than 320,000 smartphone users is "ludicrous."

The survey concluded that the Motorola Atrix HD was the phone that users were most satisfied by, with the Motorola Droid Razr M, HTC Rezound 4G and Samsung Galaxy Note II preceding the smartphone in last place: Apple's iPhone 5.

"The survey was clearly conducted to put Apple in a bad light," wrote Dvorak. You can see the results of the survey here.

Steve Jobs depicted as Russian General in new portrait

A slightly odd portrait of Steve Jobs ad a Russian Army General is now available to buy as a print, canvas, card, case, skin or pillow from Replaceface here.

?

The original painting was created by English portrait artist George Dawe, who painted 329 portraits of the Russian generals during the Napoleonic Wars.

Now, Tumblr blog Replaceface has taken digital versions of these paintings and added celebrities to the mix, including this one of Steve Jobs, as well as George Lucas, Barack Obama, High Jackman and many more.
