Good news for anyone with a Club Nintendo account, as the Big N just announced the Elite Gift options for 2013.
I have to say, not bad. Among the options for gold status members, you get your choice of digital game or Nintendo themed calendar. The game?s up for grabs are Super Smash Brothers 64, WarioWare D.I.Y Showcase, Link?s Awakening, Super Mario Land, or Sakura Samurai. The calendar itself is for 2014, and features the entire stable of Nintendo?s franchises through out the year.
For Platinum ?status members, you get some extra special choices. While you have access to the options already listed, you also have a chance to nab yourself a sweet collection of Nintendo posters, or a brand new edition of the Majora?s Mask soundtrack. The poster set looks high quality, and boasts a classy cel-shaded Zelda poster, an 8-bit Luigi (it?s the year of Luigi after wall), and a realistically stylized Pikmin poster.
Hard call between the Soundtrack and the posters for me. My walls are already covered in gaming goodness, but I do already own the OST of Majora?s Mask several times over.
Ah, life?s toughproblems.
