Samsung Galaxy S III crosses 30 million global sales

Samsung Galaxy S III (S3)

Samsung?s success keeps on growing as their Galaxy S III Android smartphone has just crossed the 30 million sales mark. It?s taken Samsung just five months since launch to sell 30 million Galaxy S III and it follows the Galaxy S3 crossing 20 million sales in just 100 days after launch.

It?s definitely impressive for Samsung and the Galaxy S III has definitely picked up from the success of the Galaxy S II, which achieved 20 million sales in ten months. Samsung recently unveiled four new colours for the Galaxy S III, including Sapphire Black and Amber Brown (above), which have both now launched in the UK.

Samsung will be hoping that the success of the Galaxy S III continues and given recent success, it doesn?t look like stopping. With the Christmas season coming up, Samsung may be hopeful that the Galaxy S III is one of the handsets that consumers will be enticed to buy, especially instead of Apple?s iPhone 5.
